Kapuso actor David Licauco took to Twitter to raise funds for personal protective equipment of PPEs which he will then donate to frontliners in hospitals combating COVID-19.
According to David, he currently has PHP 120,000 worth of PPEs and is looking to buy more.

He also clarified that since the PPEs are being ordered from a supplier in China, it might take a bit longer to reach the country.
I am still finalizing PPEs coming in from China with our import company. Hopefully, we can get access to the items soon. I will personally let you know the situation and if it will unfortunately, take more time. Thank you for your patience and to those who reached out, thank you!

Hospitals in the Philippines are experiencing a shortage of PPEs such as masks, gloves or face shields due to the volume of COVID-19 cases in the country.
Aside from David's personal efforts, GMA Artist Center is also raising funds to fight COVID-19 through online donation campaign #HealingHearts.
Please also consider giving a donation to the GMA Kapuso Foundation's "Labanan Ang COVID-19" campaign which will provide basic medical supplies for the workers at the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19.
