Upcoming science fiction film Dune has released more details, as well as stills from the movie.
The movie is the highly-anticipated adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune saga, particularly the first novel.
Actor Timothée Chalamet's look as the lead character Paul Atreides has already been revealed previously.
In a special report by Vanity Fair, director Denis Villenueve shared that because the source material is so rich in details, there are two movies planned.
The movie, which is slated for release on December 18, will focus on the first half of the novel.
"I would not agree to make this adaptation of the book with one single movie. The world is too complex. It's a world that takes its power in details," he says.
Dune also boasts of a huge and stellar cast. Joining Chalamet are Oscar Isaac who plays Paul's father Duke Leto and Rebecca Ferguson who plays Lady Jessica, Paul's mother.
Jason Momoa plays Duncan Idaho while Josh Brolin plays Gurney Halleck. Both characters will serve as mentors to Paul Atreides.
Zendaya is also part of the cast as Chani, a mysterious woman who haunts Paul's dream.
