Michele Gumabao relief efforts

Aside from her “Your 200 Pesos” fundraising drive, Michele Gumabao joins Pampanga's local government for its COVID-19 relief efforts.

Filipina professional volleyball player and Miss Globe Philippines 2018 Michele Gumabao has reached out to Pampanga's COVID-19 relief operations through “Rektang Bayanihan” project.

“Rektang Bayanihan” project was the local government's COVID-19 relief assistance which aims to help families who were adversely affected economically with the ongoing enhanced community quarantine brought about by the coronavirus crisis in the country.

On Tuesday, April 21, the beauty queen hosted the “Rektang Konek Aksyon Agad” live broadcast together with the province's police force.

“Always an honor working with our PNP and General Rhodel Sermonia. Hosting Rektang Konek Akayon Agad today, live updates all the way from Pampanga.

“@aldopanlilio12 @imadfammar @your200pesos and I brought 200 Relief Eco Packs as our donation to Rektang Bayanihan project.

“Salute to all our frontliners! Continue the hard work and may God be with all of you!,” she wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, after finishing in the Top 15 of Miss Globe 2018 Michele is giving beauty pageants another try as she's back on the pageant scene as one of the candidates of Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
