Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica have been married for two years, but have been together for more than that.
In fact, their love story began about a decade ago when Kylie met the actor, and news of them becoming an item was made known to the public. Since becoming official, Aljur would often profess his love for his sweetheart in a number of opportunities both off-cam and on-cam.
By 2014, the two called it quits though they did not tell the reason why, Kylie admitted that they had a rocky start due to the many issues they encountered in the past.
She and Aljur told in a vlog, “Actually, nung start ng relationship namin, hindi masyadong maganda. Hindi siya naging maganda.
“Strict kasi 'yung tatay ko at ayaw pa niya na magka-boyfriend ako noon. Tapos nung nalaman n'ya na I was seeing someone, ayun nagkagulo na.”
The breakup was brief though as the two continued to see each other and remained close friends.
By 2016, the two got back together that led to the excitement of their fans and supporters, to the point that Aljur even expressed that returning to Kylie's arms was the best thing that happened to him.
The following year, they got engaged, had a family, and got married.
Fast forward to 2021, the celebrity couple lands on the news again.
In February 2021, Kylie's cryptic Instagram posts such as "I'm submissive, not stupid," and "More slef love, baby girl," stirred rumors and got netizens speculating about the state of the couple's relationship. Kylie also posted on Instagram a ringless finger, with the caption "Free".
After a month, it looked like everything was back to normal when Kylie and Aljur were seen together with their kids celebrating the latter's 31st birthday.
And on July 8, Kylie shocked the public after she confirmed that she and Aljur have broken up following her father Robin Padilla's revelations in an interview with Ogie Diaz.
