Farewell BroadwayEars were ringing last Sunday night from the screams of fans who watched the live show, where StarStruck said thank you and goodbye to its Broadway home. But the competition is not over yet! There's one last week to show what the Survivor 6 is capable of--with the help of the Avengers.
And the week started last night when the Avengers came back to the studio for a performance worthy of a standing ovation! With the Survivor 6 behind them, the Wild Card Avengers pulled out all the stops as they danced to 'Chicken Noodle Soup'. It really has been a long road, and the Avengers show that they might have been eliminated, but it didn't stop them from improving their craft.
But as their performance came to a close, the Avengers then faced the throngs of fans watching the show. Every one of them was given 15 seconds to say who they thought didn't deserve to be voted by the fans, and their reasons for picking that person.
The first batch of Avengers had Chariz Solomon, Lui Perez, Jean de Castro and Lizzy Pecson picking Jewel Mische for not being able to meet the same performance level as the other Survivors. Kiko Junio answered Rich Asuncion and Chad Burden chose Kris Bernal, for the same reason: they think Stef Prescott should've been in Survivor 6 instead.
In the second batch, Jewel received five more votes from Renee Lascuna, Jan Manual, Hazel Uy, Jesi Corcuera and Stef Prescott. Dex Quindoza decided to pick Aljur Abrenica because of a recent issue that arose regarding Aljur and Mart Escudero. And Paulo Avelino also thinks Stef deserved Rich's spot more.
With nine votes for Jewel, two votes for Rich, and a vote each for Kris and Aljur, it was the Survivor 6's turn to speak. With 30 seconds each, they were asked why they should be the one that the viewers support in the coming Final Judgment.
And if that wasn't nerve-wracking enough, the council was also asked if they were convinced by the Survivors' mini-speeches. Aljur, Jewel and Prince Stefan all managed to get a No and two Yes's, while Mart, Kris and Rich all got three Yes's from the council.
Will this sway the fans when it comes time to vote for their favorites?
