Philippine-based South Korean dancer and influencer Dasuri Choi met up with some Filipino friends she met almost a decade ago to hangout and have a meal
In a new vlog, she reunited with a dance group called H3at who she met at the 2011 FilKor K-pop dance contest.
"Ang name nila is H3at. Sila 'yung nanalo sa FilKor event, 'yun 'yung isa sa malaking K-pop dance contests," Dasuri explained as she introduced her friends Ads, Jen, Arjo, and Isis.
Jen, who is a doctor, hosted their boodle fight in her home.
"Actually, it's not my first time to boodle fight. But it's my first time to prepare the boodle fight," Dasuri shares.
She and her friends prepared their food near the swimming pool.
"'Yan, may kilawin. Tapos may adobo pa kami saka liempo and beef tapa and talong ang bangus. And banana leaf, pinaka important," she says of their spread.
Dasuri also marveled at how banana leaves are used in boodle fights.
"Actually, mga chinggu, ang pinaka nakakatuwa para sa akin is this banana leaf kasi napakalaki! Wala sa Korea 'yan. Tignan niyo 'yung size! Alam niyo naman 'to, mga chinggu, kasi Pinoy kayo. Pero para sa akin talagang sobrang amazing," she says.
Because of the ongoing pandemic, they also took some measures to keep themselves safe.
"Mga chinggu, don't worry kasi we have sandok sa bawat ulam," Dasuri says before they tucked into their meal.
She and her friends also used individual paper plates instead of eating directly on the leaf.
Of course, they all made sure to wash their hands before eating.
