In her "Becoming a Mommy" vlog, Joyce Ching tries her hand in taking care of a baby to check if she's ready to be a mom.
Kapuso actress Joyce Ching tries to check if she's ready to take on mommy duties.
She vlogged about her experience of babysitting her one-year-old nephew Caleb for a day and showed the reality of rearing a child.
"I will try to become a mommy, nandito sa bahay namin ngayon ang kapatid ko, asawa niya, ang ang baby nilang si Caleb. So mag-bi-babysit ako kasi marami silang meetings today," Joyce said in her vlog intro.
Joyce shared that she's tried vlogging and watching over her nephew before and it was hard to multi-task.
"Napakahirap magalaga ng baby at mag-vlog," she said.
The actress started her day early, prepared breakfast and baby milk formla, fed Caleb, bathed him, and watched over him throughout the day.
Later during the afternoon, Joyce dozed off and fell asleep while playing with Caleb.
Her husband Kevin Alimon took over the vlogging.
Kevin said, "Ito na po si momshie for a day, borlogs na."
Joyce soon woke up, took a shower, and reflected on her day, "Napakatagal kong naligo kasi nagpahinga ako. Sobrang pagod na pagod na ako," she realized.
Joyce went back to taking care of Caleb until late at night, watching TV while Caleb used his smartphone.
She later on brought him back to his parents for bedtime.
