'Centerstage' judge Pops Fernandez voiced out her stand against gender-based violence.

Centerstage judge Pops Fernandez joins the list of celebrities and personalities who made a stand against one of the most prevalent human rights violations not only in the Philippines but around the world, gender-based violence (GBV).

On Instagram, Pops expressed her support towards the Lunas Collective's FamiLigtas campaignby posting a series of photos which calls for action regarding the abuse.

According to its page, FamiLigtas is a campaign that “seeks to build awareness about Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and how one can seek help even during COVID-19.

Lunas Collective is a volunteer-powered chat service in the Philippines that provides support services for victims and survivors of gender-based violence and abuse.

This campaign is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

GBV's scope not only includes physical, verbal, emotional, sexual, and psychological abuse but threats and coercion, among others.
