Dingdong Dantes-led Filipino actors league, AKTOR, officially opens its online store aptly called Aktor Tindahan today, November 5.

Aktor Tindahan is an online marketplace where film and TV actors sell their food products via Instagram.

Among the goods on sale on the platform are Mikoy Morales's banana cinnamon rolls, Neil Ryan Sese's seafood products, and Ces Quesada's chicken wings.

DIngdong gave his full support in developing the online marketplace. It aims to help Filipino actors' home-based specialty food and beverage businesses during a time when the number of film and TV productions has decreased because of the COVID-19 pandemic .

"Isang masigabong palakpakan para sa mga bumubuo nito! Alam ko ang adhikain ng tindahan kung kaya't excited ako sa layo ng maaaring marating at sa rami ng pwedeng matulungan nito," wrote Dingdong.

AKTOR was born out of several actors' desire to discuss social issues as a way to protect and promote artistic freedom and expression in the country.

With this, the league has partnered with Inter Guild Alliance in creating the health and safety guidelines for film and TV at the time of COVID-19.

Among the members of AKTOR are Agot Isidro, Angelica Panganiban, Cherry Pie Picache, Gabby Garcia, Carlo Gonzalez, Gabby Eigenmann, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Iza Calzado, Khalil Ramos, Mikoy Morales, Joel Torre, Joel Lamangan, Michael De Mesa, and Lauren Young.
