The former actress is living in the States together with her family since September of this year.

LJ Moreno posted a photo on Instagram today, November 18, showing the actress in the company of some of her closest friends in an outdoor location in California.

“So much fun hanging out with old friends!” she wrote in the caption.

One of those who visited LJ was comedian Rufa Mae Quinto, who has been staying in the States since February this year.

Rufa Mae and her daughter, Athena Alexandria, initially planned to visit the US for just a few weeks but the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to stay indefinitely. Rufa Mae's husband, Trevor Magallanes, is with them in California.

LJ, meanwhile, left the Philippines together with her husband, retired PBA player Jimmy Alapag, and their three children last September 15 to live in the US.

The family's decision to reside overseas was due to the uncertainties brought by the coronavirus pandemic.

“[The move is] permanent for now,” Jimmy's agent Charlie Dy said told the media.

“It's sad, but I'm wishing him the best. I'm sure he'll find a better opportunity there.”

LJ has been giving updates about their new life by posting pictures on Instagram and sharing videos on their YouTube channel, Alapag Family Fun.

“Just when I thought we had our lives planned out, God decided to make a drastic change. This season has had a lot of ups and downs but God has definitely changed my heart and given me peace with our decision,” LJ wrote on Instagram on September 19.

“The Philippines will always be home and we will always be open to the idea of moving back but for now God has made it clear that it's time for a new season.

“This transition may not be easy but as long as we have God I know we will get through it!

“Thank you to all our family and friends that were able to come and say bye and to those that have sent messages. When everything is back to normal we will see you all again, whether you visit us here in the States or we come back home.”
