Multi-awarded news personality and respected broadcaster Kara David shared a heartwarming story about her good friend and birthday girl Aubrey Carampel.
In her Instagram post yesterday, December 1, Kara posted a throwback photo with the Chika Minute reporter, wherein she looked back on Aubrey's birthday celebration with the Mangyan tribe of Mindoro 10 years ago.
Kara recalled, “10 years ago when we visited the Mangyan tribe of Mindoro. Instead of throwing a party, you decided to donate your birthday fund to the indigenous peoples of mindoro province.
“Happy birthday my dear @aubreycarampel . God bless you for your generous heart truly beautiful inside and out.”
Several celebrities also took to Instagram to greet the Kapuso reporter on her 39th birthday including Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Mariz Umali, to name a few.
Aubrey thanked everyone who made her “pandemic birthday” a special one.
She added that her wish for her 39th birthday is for everyone to be safe and stay healthy amid this COVID-19 crisis.
“Welcoming the first of December with faith, hope and love as I turn a year older. Definitely not my best birthday and not the best year for most of us but still thankful and grateful for the gift of life.
“Thank you my dear family and friends for still making my pandemic birthday extra special. My wish is for everyone to be safe and healthy. Fighting!”
Maligayang Kaarawan, Kapuso Aubrey!
