Nothing is sweeter in turning a year older than getting showers of blessings and love from your family and friends. This is true for Ruby Rodriguez who marked her 55th birthday yesterday, January 10.
Ruby received tons of gifts and messages on her birthday.
Her daughter Toni Aquino posted a series of greetings on her social media account. She collated three of their best snaps and wrote, “Happy Birthday Mom! Thank you for carrying me for 9 months and continuing to tolerate me for another 22 years (more to come). I love you forever, I'll like you for always as long as I am living my mommy you'll be.”
Meanwhile, the actress received a painting from her son AJ.
Ruby's BFF Pauleen Luna also took to social media her message. It read, “My dearest Ate Rubs, I spent all morning choosing from a bazillion photos of us but i chose these cos i remember this SFO trip so vividly! This trip may only be one of the few ones we went on but every trip with you is memorable. There will always be at the very least one memory that will stand out per trip! Hahahah alam mo na yun. And since today is your birthday, I wanna dedicate to you this post. Sucks that we can't travel or even spend time with one another on your birthday but know that you are always in my heart. Thank you for all the good times (I would like to say and the bad but wala naman masyadong bad). Thanks for being a solid part of my life. And most especially, thank you for making me a part of your family. Happy happy birthday BFF. I love and miss you so! @rodriguezruby.”
Eat Bulaga's youngest dabarkad Bae-by Baste also penned a dedication for her. He said, “Ang laging napagkakamalang nanay ko po sa aking unang pagpasok sa Eat Bulaga. Tita @rodriguezruby HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY po. Thank you po sa pag-love mo sa akin. Wishing you happiness, good fortune and good health all the days of your life. I love you and i misshyuuu po.”
Ruby's Owe My Love co-stars also posted short but sweet greetings for the actress. This included Benjamin Alves who sent her a bouquet of roses and Jelai Andres who portrays one of her daughters in the Kapuso rom-com series.
Happy birthday, Ruby!
