Every pet owner would experience running after his or her dog once in a while.

However, it's rare for a pet owner to run after her dog in the middle of traffic, in heels, and all dolled-up. Well, not everybody is Heart Evangelista, after all.

This is what happened to the Queen of Creative Collaborations yesterday, January 13, after sharing a photo of her dog, Che Che, inside her car.

“Nakakaloka! Hinabol namin si Che Che sa daan! Muntik [na] akong lumusot sa truck!” she captioned.

In a series of follow-up posts, the Kapuso actress and fashion influencer shared details of her afternoon and thanked everyone who was able to help her get a hold of her dog.

“To the man who opened his car door to stop Che Che, thank you!” Heart commended.

“Sana walang nakakuha ng video dahil mukha akong tanga -- nakakulot [ang buhok] at high heels [while] making pigil the trucks and cars, and running after Che Che. What an afternoon.”

She added in another post, “To the guards, driver, my hairstylist, all my friends, and sister Camille [Ongpauco] (in high heels din) thank you sa pag habol. What a scene! Thank you, Lord, at ok ang lahat.”

Heart even said that she had forgotten that her husband, Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero, is also on Twitter and may (or may not) read her tweets.

“Great! I forgot na nasa Twitter din pala asawa ko. Mapapagalitan ako nito,” followed by a rolling eye emoji.

Despite wishing that no one was able to capture the moment, fans of Heart hoped that someone was able to so they could see the hilarious yet glamorous moment in action.

One fan said, “Feeling ko ito, memsh,” along with a gif of hotel heiress Paris Hilton running towards her car.

Another wrote, “Hihi! Nakakatawa naman po. Naiimagine ko na 'yung scene. Para po siguro kayong si Gia sa kalog na naghahabol ng aso sa kalsada.”

“Sana may video. I want to see you running while in heels! Sobrang gorgeous pa rin.” added another.

It can be recalled that n 2019, the Queen of Creative Collaborations used her social media powers to help her find her missing dog around New Manila, Quezon City.

Aside from her own furry pets, Heart Evangelista campaigned for the adoption of dogs, especially Aspins, with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and shared her plans in building an animal shelter in Sorsogon.

While Heart has always exhibited her love for animals in many of her personal and public endeavors, this proves how her pets (and animals in general) mean the world to her.
