Heart Evangelista gives a treasure trove of advice on love and relationships as she sits down with Maja Salvador in the Kapamilya actress's latest vlog.
Unknown to many, Heart and Maja have formed a friendship when the two used to work together in the latter's current TV network. Maja felt delighted that the Kapuso star granted her invitation.
In Maja's latest vlog, she and Heart addressed the concerns of netizens about their relationships.
They were asked about dealing with jealousy and overthinking, managing long distance relationships and second chances, and handling heartbreaks and closures.
When confronted about the question, “Paano magmahal nang hindi nasasaktan,” Heart shared her wisdom, saying, “Mahirap talaga. Ako, kasama na 'yun doon. But at the same time, hindi lang naman din siya sakit, masaya naman din siya. So hindi lang siya masakit dahil sinasaktan ka, mali naman na sinasaktan. Masakit siya because may mga kailangan kang aralin sa sarili mo na, 'Babaguhin ko ba 'to? Ano bang gusto ko? Kaya ko bang i-take 'to?'
"Kumbaga, barometer ang love. 'Ano ba, tama ba ito para sa akin?' Doon mo nakilala at doon nade-develop 'yung character mo as a person. Ibang klase din nagagawa ng love sa life. So whether it was good or it was bad, parang all is fair in love and war.”
“Love wins. Love for yourself wins at the end of the day. Kasi kung hindi ko napagdaanan lahat ng napagdaanan ko, baka hindi rin ako worthy na makasama 'yung asawa ko ngayon dahil napakabuti rin niya. So it all makes sense.”
Meanwhile, Maja also opened up about reigniting old flames when asked for advice about two exes getting back together.
She shared her love story with Rambo Nunez, saying, “Malaking chance 'yung nagbalikan kami kasi sobrang okay talaga 'yung relationship namin noong time na 'yun. Ako ang may problem noon kasi pinili ko [ang career]. Kaya I'm very thankful. Grateful ako kasi 'yung family ni Rambo and even Rambo, ang saya. Parang si Rambo pa nga 'yung nagbigay ng chance.
“Lagi ko 'yun sinasabi kay Rambo, 'Bakit ko siya sobrang mahal?' Dahil ang laking factor nung grabe akong mahalin nung family [niya].”
