In the photo, Gal can be seen wearing a sexy top or what looks like a swimsuit or shapewear.
At first glance, the photo looks like a campaign ad or a photo for a beauty or fashion editorial in a magazine.
But it is actually a photo snapped by 'Justice League' and 'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice' director Zack Snyder.
Turns out the photo is actually from Gal's camera test for the role that would change her life forever.
Gal recalls the moment vividly in her caption. She wrote, “This photo was taken by Zack Snyder on the day I did the camera test for Batman vs Superman with Ben (Affleck).
“I came to LA for 30 hours while shooting a movie in Tel Aviv. But I wanted the role of Wonder Woman so much that it was worth the trip.”
She then expressed her gratitude to the American filmmaker who chose her to play the role of Wonder Woman a.k.a. Diana Prince.
“I'll forever be grateful to Zack for casting me and believing that I could bring Diana to life.”
Gal then ended her post with a very inspirational reflection on her photo and how it turned out to be one of the greatest blessings in her life.
“I had no idea what the future would hold back when this picture was taken - seeing it makes me very nostalgic.
“It's also proof that everything happens for a reason. I was on the verge of giving up acting... and then this happened. ”

When news that a Wonder Woman film was in the works, DC Comics fans got all excited and placed their bets on who among the famous Hollywood stars will bag the role.
Some of the actresses that people first thought would be cast as Wonder Woman were Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie, and Jessica Biel.
But in reality, the other two actresses who almost got the role are 'Quantum of Solace' Bond girl and Oblivion' actress Olga Kurylenko and French-Cambodian actress Elodie Yung, who eventually played Elektra in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Netflix series 'Daredevil' and mini-series 'The Defenders.'
In the end, Gal Gadot was chosen to play the iconic role of Wonder Woman in the DCEU.
Many raised their eyebrows when Gal was cast as Diana Prince, with some criticizing her physique as “not curvy enough” to be Wonder Woman.

Gal has responded to body-shamers in 2013 during an interview for the Israeli TV show 'Good Evening with Gai Pines' by saying, "I represent the Wonder Woman of the new world. Breasts…anyone can buy for 9,000 shekels and everything is fine.
“By the way, Wonder Woman is Amazonian, and historically accurate Amazonian women actually had only one breast. So, if I'd really go by the book…it'd be problematic."
Before her Wonder Woman fame, Gal starred in four 'Fast and Furious' films as Gisele Yashar. She also appeared in the romantic crime-comedy film 'Date Night.'
And before becoming an actress, Gal was crowned as Miss Israel 2004 and served for two years in the Israel Defense Forces.
Having exceptional beauty and knowledge and experience in acting and actual combat, it's definitely no wonder why Gal Gadot is the perfect choice to play Wonder Woman.
