Rhian Ramos didn't deny the fact that she was heartbroken when she and her Israeli boyfriend Amit Borsok broke up.
She couldn't eat well and sleep right and wasn't able to take care of herself because of so much stress and pain. Not to mention, the growing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic added to her burden.
But, eventually, she has moved on after processing her emotions alone when she moved out from her mom's house and realizing the thing that truly matters--her well-being.
Speaking to GMANetwork.com, Rhian said, "I feel like now is the best time to be single and enjoy the quiet because hindi katulad ng dati ang daming clutter sa buhay like if you're single all your friends wanna go out, they wanna take you out, they wanna introduce you to more people so that you can fall in love again."
While on lockdown, Rhian took the time to reflect and contemplate on how she wants to live her life in her own terms.
"It's actually quite comfortable just thinking about yourself," she said.
She went on, "Wala akong ibang dapat i-consider aside from what I want and it becomes very clear and you get to know yourself better. You will really benefit from knowing yourself better, knowing exactly what you want.
"You have more time to learn more things. I feel like it's hard to take up any hobby or just to stay on top of your fitness and all of these things when you're pouring so much time for someone else."
The 30-year-old actress added, "It's just nice to build your life the way you want because when you're single, you have control over the way your life is being built.
"You don't have to adjust your plans to someone else's plans which is great when you are in your 30s."
Meanwhile, we can really say she's back on her feet when she gamely talked about her love life and recent breakup when she made a guest appearance in The Boobay And Tekla Show (TBATS) last Sunday, March 21.
In one part, Rhian shared that she's single but not available, hinting she's not ready to enter a new relationship, then joked about her desire to be a "matandang dalaga."
