Since Doug's mom is an Ilocano, it's no wonder why Scarlett has learned a few Ilocano words or phrases.
Scarlett said, “If you wanna say this, 'Why is it so hot? Ugh!'
“In Ilocano you say it as, 'Apay nga nag pudot? Nyamet!”
She also shared some pointers that in speaking Ilocano, faster and louder delivery is better.
“Next, when your sibling is fighting with you in English, you say it as, 'I'm gonna tell you to mommy.'
“In Ilocano you say it as, 'Idarum ka kini mamang. Remember, the faster, the louder, the better.”
