Find out how the Royal Family celebrated Archie's birthday and see the adorable photo of him shared by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markles's son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, turned 2 years old on Thursday, April 6.
Despite all the recent controversies that hounded their family, the British Royals celebrated Archie's second birthday by sending their birthday greetings on social media.
The Instagram account of the Royal Family posted a throwback photo of the moment when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex first introduced Archie to the world.
They captioned it with, “Wishing Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a very happy 2nd birthday today. 🎈”
Meanwhile the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, shared a family photo taken during Archie's christening.
As for Archie's grandfather, Prince Charles, he shared a black and white photo of him and Prince Harry, who was carrying Archie at the time.
It was captioned, “Happy birthday to Archie, who turns two today. 🎂”
To celebrate his second birthday, Archie's parents shared an adorable photo of him holding a balloon in the official website of Archewell Foundation.
They also published an article with it that discussed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's advocacy for vaccine equity.

Prince Harry and Meghan are encouraging people to make a donation to cover the cost of the COVID-19 vaccine for people who can't afford them or have no access to them, especially in developing countries.
Part of the article reads, “While some places are on the verge of healing, in so many parts of the world, communities continue to suffer.
“As of today, around 80 percent of the nearly one billion COVID-19 vaccine shots that have been given were administered in wealthier countries.
“While we may feel that normalcy is around the corner, we remind ourselves that in much of the world, and especially in developing countries, vaccine distribution has effectively yet to start.”
They also explained how people's donations and those that came from organizations will help provide vaccines to the less fortunate.
“For a donation of just $5, you can cover the cost of a dose for someone in need. And because we were able to secure matching support from a number of organizations, that $5 you give will automatically turn into $20--covering the cost of four doses.”
They ended the article with encouraging words and a link to the Global Citizen website where people can donate.

“If we all show up, with compassion for those we both know and don't know, we can have a profound impact.
