Kapuso actor Kevin Santos shared on Instagram today, July 16, that he finally earned his commercial pilot license.
He simply wrote in his caption: "Commercial." with a pilot emoji.
His license, according to the photo, was issued on April 20, 2021.
This means that the actor can now earn from flying and be a paid professional pilot.
It was only in 2018 when Kevin received his private pilot license.
In his interview in Tunay na Buhay in 2019, the actor admitted that most of his earnings in his showbiz career went to flight school.
He shared, "Ninety percent nandito. So far, nakaka-survive naman.
“'Yun nga lang, medyo hindi na ko nakakalabas ng bahay. Hindi ako nakakagimik.
“Wala nang ganoon simula last year pa. Wala na kong labas ng bahay kasi focus ng aral and, siyempre, kailangan magtipid dahil sa food and support sa family."
Clearly, his hard work paid off as he can now be classified as pilot-in-command in flights in airlines and other commercial purposes.
Aside from being a pilot, Kevin recently finished his degree in Political Science and even graduated cum laude.
Kevin started his showbiz career in 2004 when he joined StarStruck as an avenger.
Since then, he has portrayed several supporting and comedic roles in various GMA teleseryes including Basahang Ginto, My Husband's Lover, Ismol Family, Poor Señorita, Kambal, Karibal, and Daddy's Gurl.
Soon, he will be part of the star-studded upcoming GMA series Legal Wives as Omar.
