The Miss Universe Philippines organization has just announced that two new titles will be added to this year's pageant.

In a Facebook post, the Miss Universe Philippines organization said that aside from the title of Miss Universe Philippines, Miss Universe Philippines 1st Runner Up, and Miss Universe Philippines 2nd Runner Up, two candidates will also be crowned Miss Universe Philippines Tourism and Miss Universe Philippines Charity.

While neither Miss Universe Philippines Tourism nor Miss Universe Philippines Charity will be competing in any international pageants, the organization says that Miss Universe Philippines Tourism will be the one to take over if ever Miss Universe Philippines 2021 is unable to fulfill her duties.

The organization further explained that aside from inspiring people, the queens who will be given these titles will be able to further promote tourism and involvement in charity, which are pillars that the organization champions.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2021 coronation night will be held on September 30 at the Henann Resort Convention Center in Panglao, Bohol. Its first national broadcast will be on October 3, 9:00 a.m on GMA, the official broadcast partner.

Aside from the coronation, the first national broadcast of the pageant will include exclusive interviews with the judges and the winner.
