Miss World Philippines Tracy Maureen Perez is truly being a beauty with a purpose as she spent International Women's Day talking about how women can empower women.

In her latest Instagram post, Tracy shared that she was invited by the Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Service (PSA RSSO) MIMAROPA to talk about women in the workplace and her own struggles and triumphs. Aside from two photos, Tracy also shared a snippet of her speaking.

Tracy's activities are all leading up to her upcoming participation in the Miss World pageant, which is set to be re-staged after being postponed last year due to a sharp increase in COVID-19 infections among the contestants and the production team.

Tracy is one of the pageant's Top 40 contestants, with the Miss World Organization emphasizing in particular her “Beauty with a Purpose” video making it to the Top 6 alongside England, India, Kenya, South Africa, and the United States.

Tracy has been preparing intensely for the upcoming pageant, even setting up her own website that is now hosted on the Miss World website. She shared that she was heavily involved in making the site.

“Have been on this for quite a while now -- in between work schedules, personally making the content, the editing, the writing, tweaking the backend, figuring out the ins and outs of creating my own website through the platform given, I'm ecstatic that I get this opportunity to share with all of you my perspective of things and that it helped light up my passion for writing once again!” she wrote in the caption of the Instagram post that announced the launch of the website.
