Mirriam Manalo Baby Lilah Emilia

No words can describe the grief of Mirriam Manalo. "Fly high my angel! You're with ate na..." This is the second time Mirriam lost a child.

The Clash alumna Mirriam Manalo's daughter Lilah Emilia passed away today, April 24, due to complications of her genetic disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

In her Facebook post, Mirriam can be seen making her heartbreaking, tearful goodbyes to her baby.

"Iniwan moko anak, ang sakit naman sobra! Okay na okay ka pa kahapon baby ko.. nothing is more painful than this! 2 times in a row…

"Fly high my angel! You're with ate na..

"No more pain anak, doon makakapaglakad kna, makaka dance, makakakain kana lahat ng gusto mo, makaka sing kna with Jesus 🙏🏻

"Till we meet again ❤️ I love you Emilia ko!"

This is the second time Mirriam lost a child. Her first baby, Layla Elleina, whom she nicknamed "Baby Clasher," was born on February 19, 2019 but died in October after battling Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a genetic disorder that affects the central nervous system that led to weakened muscles. Baby Layla was the "ate" that Mirriam was referring to in her Facebook post.

It was only March 2022 Mirriam asked for prayers and financial assistance for Baby Lilah who was in the intensive care (ICU). On April 18, 2022, she also asked her Instagram followers for support to cover Baby Lilah's medications and other medical expenses.
