Former T.G.I.S star Rica Peralejo touched the hearts of many followers with her posts about life choices.

In a series of Instagram Stories, the celebrity mom shared that she's glad that she grew up in an environment without thinking that she has an image to protect.

Rica stated, “After everything that I have been through, I appreciate the way I grew up even more. The way we had no image to protect, no label to prove or uphold, no stature to be mindful about. We were just simple people, busy making ends meet and all the whole just doing life.”

The wife of Joseph Bonifacio went to say that she's even ready to leave her life as a public figure for good if God wants it.

She explained, “Yes, I am a public figure but also, I know that popularity, fame, stature- these are not what I consider to be goals in life. I can walk away from it anytime God calls me out of iy. So, it makes me less afraid of things I say that might offend others.

“Especially when I know it's worth saying and I am supposed to say it.”

Rica then discussed the importance of our freedom to choose, “There is so much freedom in being able to do what is right because you have refused all those that want to buy your loyalty.

“Every time I hear someone say kasi, “I have no choice because this is who I am, this what they expect… I always think, but that is inaccurate. You always have a choice. You just don't want to go the more painful route so you're picking the one with the least complications at the price of your freedom.”

The celebrity mom further stressed in the end, “You always have a choice. Remember that.”
