Barely a month since the Afternoon Prime series Kakambal ni Eliana ended, young actor Enzo Pineda is busy once again with another TV project, Dormitoryo. He is set to play the role of Burn Chavez, the school's most popular varsity player with a dark secret. GMANetwork.com had an exclusive interview with the Starstruck V alumni during the show's press conference, where he talked about his character, working with his friends, and having one show after another.

"There are parts of it na close si Burn sa akin, pagiging makulit. Siguro sa diskarte sa babae, minsan ganun ako. 'Yung pagiging varsity jock, nung high school kasi ako varsity ako ng taekwondo, track and field, at football, so active ako sa school ko. I know how it feels like to be a varsity player. But I'm not the heartthrob type nung nasa school ako. Ako 'yung isa sa mga seryoso, so isa 'yun sa mga iba sa amin. 'Yung over confident, that's not me," shares Enzo about his similarities and differences with Burn.

He adds, "But there's a part of me na gusto kong paglaruan kasi lahat naman ng emotion mayroon ka. Hindi mo lang nata-tap in. Iba ka as a person, pero if you scan through everything, kaya mong hugutin ang mga emotions mo."

It's also his first time to work with most of his co-actors in the upcoming suspenserye. "First time to work with Annicka, Lauren, Joyce, Ruru, I think almost everyone. I'm happy because off-cam, kaibigan ko sila pero never ko pa sila nakakatrabaho. And I'm really happy na lahat kami magkakaibigan sa set. It's a light set even though it's a serious story."

When asked about how he feels na sunud-sunod ang shows niya sa Kapuso network, this is what Enzo expressed. "I feel so happy na binibigyan ako ng projects ng GMA. I'm happy that they're seeing something in me, na na-appreciate nila ang trabaho ko. For me as an artist, masarap sa pakiramdam na na-appreciate nila 'yung ginagawa mo. May halong kaba kung tatanggapin ba 'yung acting style mo, and I'm happy na na-appreciate nila 'yun. I get to touch a lot of hearts kapag nanonood sila, nakaka-inspire ako ng mga tao. I'm happy and, at the same time, thankful."

He admits that he doesn't  want to waste his time in show business. "It's my fourth year; it's not long pero ayokong sayangin ang oras ko. I just want to do my work, do my best, and good things will come. Kumbaga, before I was waiting. Kailan ako magkakaroon ng show? But I haven't realized yet na I have to work hard in order for me to get the things I want. At least ngayon masarap ang feeling dahil alam ko na pinaghirapan ko."
