Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz will forever treasure the moment she got to interact with Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera and her daughter Zia.
In a series of posts on Instagram Story, Hidilyn shared that she admired the Dantes couple for allowing their panganay to try out sports and enrolled her in a gymnastic class.
The Pinay sport legend said, “Ang galing ni Zia sa mga training niya kanina. Kudos kay idol Marian pina-enroll niya sa gymnastics class si Zia.”
Meanwhile, Hidilyn can't help gushing over her moment with Marian.
She posted a selfie with the Jose and Maria's Bonggang Villa star and admitted that she couldn't ask for a photo, because she was feeling a bit shy.
“Nahihiya ako magpa-picture kay idol @marianrivera, syempre Marian yan!” Hidilyn recalled.
She continued, “Mabait at sweet pala siya in person. Hands-on at supportive siya kay Zia. Kudos to Marian.”
Hidilyn Diaz bagged the country's first-ever gold medal in the Olympics after winning the women's 55-kg weightlifting event of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
