Kapuso hunk Aljur Abrenica brought the house down last November 7 as he performed today’s biggest hits in his concert dubbed Come and Get Me.

Present at the event were GMA executives Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Redgie Acuna-Magno, Jose Mari Abacan, Tracy Garcia, Regie C. Bautista, Gigi Santiago-Lara and Simoun Ferrer.

The concert was also attended by celebrities like Andrea Torres, Jonalyn Viray, Bettina Carlos, James Obeso of Moymoy Palaboy and Gabby Eigenmann.

Aljur’s Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko family, including Director Dondon Santos and co-stars Jan Manual, Ping Medina and Marco Alcaraz also came to support the Kapuso star.
Adarna star Kylie Padilla also gave her all-out support to Aljur during the show.

The show kicked off with a high-energy dance number from Aljur, who looked ruggedly handsome in leather, plaid and denim.

On his first set, Aljur performed pop and R&B tunes like “This Love” by Maroon 5, “Treasure” and “Runaway” by Bruno Mars.

The crowd went crazy as Aljur performed OPM hits like “Pusong Bato”, “Buko”, “Lord Patawad” and “Sa Isang Sulyap Mo”.

Aljur then sang his heart out with his rendition of hits like “Call Me Maybe”, “Rolling in the Deep”, “Titanium” and “Blurred Lines”.

One of the highlights of the show was Aljur’s performance of “On The Floor” with dancer extraordinaire, Rochelle Pangilinan. Rochelle went on to wow the crowd as she grooved to Beyonce songs, “Crazy in Love” and “Single Ladies”.

Back onstage, Aljur gave his own spin to his favorite songs including “Kiss”, made popular by Prince, Justin Timberlake’s comeback hits, “Mirrors” and “Suit and Tie”.

He was then joined by Kahit Nasaan Ka Man star and award-winning singer, Julie Anne San Jose. Together, they performed “Just Give Me A Reason”.  Julie Anne hit the high notes with her own version of the Miley Cyrus’ hit, “Wrecking Ball”.

Aljur shined as he performed a medley of Maroon 5 songs including “Payphone”, “Daylight” and “Moves Like Jagger”.

All eyes focused on the centerstage screen as an audiovisual presentation (AVP) of Aljur’s current show, Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko was shown. He was then joined by his leading lady, Kris Bernal. The Kapuso Royal Couple of Drama performed the series’ official soundtrack, “Ikaw Lang at Ako” by Janno Gibbs. After their duet, Kris Bernal fired up the dancefloor with an Arabianesque production number.

Following this, an AVP of Aljur was shown. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has helped and supported him from his StarStruck days seven years ago up to the present.

“Libre din ang mangarap kaya dinamihan ko na, and one of my dreams came true tonight. Hindi ako magsasawang lumingon where I came from, magpasalamat at magpasalamat nang paulit ulit,” stated Aljur.

The Kapuso hunk brought the house down as he sang “Nanghihinayang” and Black Eyed Peas songs, “Bebot” and “I Like It, Mare”.

He wrapped up the show with a soulful and touching performance of “Sa Araw ng Pasko”.

The concert was a sneak peek for bigger things to come. Aljur’s album, produced by MCA Music, will be available by early next year.
