Bianca King

Find out why and how Bianca King dealt with her fears of pregnancy.

While getting pregnant may be one of the happiest moments for a couple, there are times when fear takes hold and like anyone else, Bianca King admits it also took hold of her during the first trimester of her pregnancy.

In an interview on Updated with Nelson Canlas, Bianca admitted that she was researching pregnancy and that as she learned about it, fears about being pregnant, and her baby, came rushing all at the same time.

“When I started reading about it and researching sabay-sabay siya dumating 'yong mga fears na ano puwedeng mangyari, ano mga abnormalities na you have no control over,” she said.

Last August, Bianca announced through her Instagram post that she and her husband Ralph Wintle would be having their first child after years of waiting. She admitted then that they were scheduled to undergo an IVF treatment when the “natural miracle” happened.

Bianca mentioned how she worried if she was doing anything wrong or eating wrong that may cause her baby harm. She added, however, that her OB-GYN reassured her that once she's past her 12th week, she can relax.

“But ganu'n talaga ako mahilig talaga akong magresearch,” she said, adding that she has a tendency to share what she learned, admitting that while she was not open to anyone about her pregnancy then, she shares what she has learned now.

“As much as I can shine share ko kung ano 'yong mga natutunan ko 'cause I know that women are looking for this sort of resource and content online,” she said.

She also admitted she felt that certain topics about pregnancy were not talked about among women, which pushed her to share what she has learned.

She also revealed that meditating and sharing her experiences to friends and fans alike through social media helped her relax and distracted her from the fears she was feeling.
