Roberta Tamondong is aiming to bring home the country's first Miss Grand International crown.
Yet another beauty queen is gearing up for a pageant outside of the country, as Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Roberta Tamondong has safely arrived in Indonesia to compete in the Miss Grand International pageant set to be held on October 25.
In a post on her Instagram account, Roberta put up a photo of her in Bali, Indonesia, writing in the caption that it would be a few hours before they will be conducting their first activity for Miss Grand International.
Roberta is seeking to claim the first Miss Grand International for the country. Samantha Bernardo was able to finish first runner-up a few years ago, while last year's Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, Samantha Panlilio did not make it into the top 20.
Roberta is not the only beauty queen outside the country competing in international pageants. A week ago, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Gabrielle Basiano arrived in Egypt to compete in the Miss Intercontinental pageant set to happen on October 14.
Gabrielle is hoping to bring home a third Miss Intercontinental crown for the country after Cinderella “Cindy” Faye Obeñita's win in 2021 and Karen Gallman of Bohol win in 2018.
Meanwhile, Binibining Pilipinas Globe Chelsea Fernandez is in Albania looking to take home a third Miss Globe crown after Maureen Montagne and Ann Colis's wins in 2021 and 2015, respectively.
