Volleyball player and Rocco Nacino's wife, Melissa Gohing, took to Instagram the birth story of their first born, Ezren Raffaello.
Melissa gave birth to Baby EZ on October 9 via cesarean section. “It was easy for Nico & I to decide to have a C-section instead of going through a trial normal delivery,” she wrote.
“We would choose to do whatever was necessary to get the baby out safe and healthy,” she continued.
Melissa admitted that she was scared at first because things went by fast as her water broke in the parking lot of the mall they were supposed to meet Rocco's sister at.
She also did not have to wait long in the delivery prep room before being wheeled into the delivery room after more or less than an hour.
"It was a moment when everything around you slowed down, just like in the movies. Haha!” Melissa shared.
According to Melissa, she was shaking the whole time because of the anesthesia, but Rocco's voice managed to calm her down.
Despite everything, Melissa described the moment she heard baby EZ's cry as the “most magical.”
"It took a while for me to hold him in my arms because he was a meconium baby. By God's grace, he was negative in all of the tests,” she said.
At the end of her post, Melissa penned a short but sweet message for her husband.
"I know he's going to be a great daddy. Now, he is doing everything to be the best daddy for our EZ,” she said.
