It’s been three months since rumors of Kristoffer Martin and Joyce Ching have broken up surfaced. And now, news of them working together again in a soap opera slated to air this January came up. Find out how Joyce reacted to her reunion with Kristoffer in this interview.

It’s been three months since the rumors that Kristoffer Martin and Joyce Ching have broken up surfaced. And now, news of them working together again in a soap opera slated to air this January came up. So when GMANetwork.com chanced upon Joyce, we asked her initial reaction to this development.

“Masaya kasi ang tagal din naming hinintay at ang tagal rin naming pinush na sana magkatrabaho ulit kami. Tapos, ito na. Magkatrabaho na ulit kami.”

“Nakaka-excite kasi magkatrabaho na ulit kami pero hindi kami magka-love team,” she revealed.

She said that 2013 was a fruitful and blessed year for her. In fact she did not run out of shows.

A very grateful Joyce said, “Si Lord sobrang binless ako nitong taong ito. Ang dami ko nagawang projects ngayong year na ito. Sobrang happy ako, sobrang blessed.”

Looking back, she was given a meaty role on the hit series Anna KareNina on GMA Telebabad. The recently concluded show, Dormitoryo, where she played Airiz de Ocampo, was also a big hit as Kapuso viewers were kept on their toes, guessing who the real killer in the story is. And now, Joyce will welcome the New Year with a bang as she plays another significant role in her upcoming show on primetime.

“Tuwing mag-start ng panibagong show, nakakapressure. Hindi natin sure kung kakagatin ng tao. ‘Yong Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko, mataas ‘yong ratings. Kailangan mapantayan namin,” she said.

The upcoming show, where Joyce is part of the cast, will be under the direction of the award-winning director, Bb. Joyce Bernal. Does she feel pressured?

“Mas na-e-excite ako kaysa kinakabahan, kasi dati pa talaga, dream ko na makatrabaho siya,” she shared.

Joining Joyce in this soap is Kapuso actress Kim Rodriguez, who will play the part of Kristoffer Martin's love interest. The press asked Joyce if she feels jealous after finding out that her ex-boyfriend will be paired with Kim.

“Selos pa rin after three months?” she asked laughing.

So after three months, has she moved on already? “Hindi pa naman buong-buo pero tapos na ‘yon” was her answer.

According to Joyce, “Meron pong konting ilang factor pero okay naman. Basta kami naman trabaho, trabaho. ‘Yun naman ang dapat pag-focusan talaga.”

Before the interview ended, Joyce left a message to her loyal fans: “This is something new, mas mature na kami so abangan niyo ‘yan.”

And for Kim and Kristoffer, this is what she has to say, “Galingan nating lahat at gawin nating fresh ang soap na ito.”
