Mark Bautista on pursuing his passion for music: "What if I didn't take that chance? What if I didn't risk chasing my dream? It would've been a different story by now."
Kapuso singer Mark Bautista took a trip down memory lane as he looked back at some of his struggles when he was just starting out in showbiz.
Mark became known to the public when he became a grand finalist of the talent search Star for a Night, where he placed third behind Sarah Geronimo.
"Nag-flash back sa'kin upon seeing this cargo ship, ganito sinakyan namin ng brother ko noon for 2 and half days going to Manila (dahil mahal ang plane ticket) just to audition for the singing contest," the native of Cagayan de Oro shared on Instagram.
"Now, it's more than 20 years and it made me question - what if I didn't take that chance? What if I didn't risk chasing my dream? It would've been a different story by now.
"But thinking about it now, masasabi ko lang it was the best decision I made & I couldn't be anymore grateful. God really works in so many ways that's fit and good for you."
The year 2022 will be forever special for Mark as all of his hard work has finally paid off, and he moved to his new home with his family.
