Actor Xian Lim got emotional in a recent video on his YouTube Channel, XIAN LIM.
His video from January 17 titled "I made a mistake" shows Xian reflecting on his past mistakes and apologizing for them one by one.
In the video, he also addresses a certain someone but does not specify who.
"A public confession to the person I have the biggest debt on. I'm sorry and I hope you can forgive me," the video description read.
Xian's voice-over can be heard narrating in the video. "I made a mistake, and I'm sorry."
He continues, "I'm sorry for all the times I doubted you. I should've done more with the time I had but I was too busy thinking negatively about myself.
"I would've been a better person now had I not been thinking twice about my actions. I could've been soaring but I chose to think about the worst that can happen, rather than let things fall into place. I'm sorry for all the negative thoughts I fed you."
"I'm sorry for not believing in you, for all the opportunities I turned down. To all the people I cut out of my life."
"I'm sorry for not taking enough risks. I want to be great but I want to follow my heart, but I want to pursue my dreams but I want to be better.
"I'm sorry for thinking too much of what other people think."
"I'm sorry for being insensitive to the people around me. I will do better. I promise to be grateful."
"I'm sorry for not wanting to socialize, I promise to keep an open mind next time.
"I'm sorry for being selfish."
He also hinted at doing self-harm, both physically and emotionally.
"I'm sorry for not appreciating life and always complaining. There is so much to be thankful for."
"I'm sorry for all the mistakes I made, and I hope you can forgive me."
On Instagram, Xian shared a short clip of the video and thanked all of his supporters.
"Thank you for all the wonderful feedback you guys gave me on my recent posts. To all the subscribers and listeners out there, check out @experiencelifepodcast as we talk about life and all the things we encounter."
He explained, "Here's a video I made of some realizations along the way of making this podcast. From time to time I'll have segments like these where podcast topics merge with YT vlogs because there was some sort of a spark of inspiration while sharing my thoughts and feelings. This is my way of trying to share and provide my experiences to my viewers and listeners and somehow put out value in my work. I hope this video can be of service to some out there."
