Heart welcomes the month of love as the face of a local magazine!
Heart Evangelista is continually making 2023 her year as she marked her birth month with a fresh new cover feature in a local fashion magazine.
The international fashion and style icon looked majestic in the February issue of Mega Magazine.
On the cover, Heart was donned in a violet hooded dress by Ulysses Caragayan and adorned in jewellery pieces of rose gold, and yellow and white gold.
"Starting off the year on the note of freedom and self-love is fashion's darling, #HeartEvangelista. There truly is a notable change with the multi-hyphenate, but what led her to this new version of herself?” the magazine wrote in their post on Instagram.
Mega's cover interview with Heart focused on her journey to self-love and dealing with people's opinions and expectations.
In an excerpt from the interview, the Kapuso actress said, "People will always have something to say. But, now, I totally don't care. And if I do want something, I'll do it my way. I do have plans and I do like to pressure myself, but I have no regrets.”
She also recounted the time she had to sail through rough waters, as well as letting go of some people along the way, “I went through a stage where I went under fire. I had to pass through fire and not a lot of people could pass through that fire with me.
"That's why I'm very appreciative of my husband, my friends, because they were really there for me when we needed to go through a certain time in my life. It was painful, but it was good,” Heart was quoted as saying.
A part of the interview with Heart also touched on societal pressure, “I think it was a lot about being pressured to have a baby.”
She continued, “It was not necessarily from certain people. It was really like a shift in my life: the pressures of being a wife, the pressures of being a certain mold, and I just wanted to get rid of that. And I did, by doing what I felt like doing. And if people don't get it, then they don't get it.”
Meanwhile, Heart recently attended the Paris Fashion Week, where she has showcased a number of head-turning looks once again.
