'Magandang Dilag' actress Maxine Medina tied the knot with non-showbiz beau, Timmy Llana, last October.

Maxine Medina is over the moon as she talked about her new role as a missus.

In a recent interview with GMANetwork.com, Maxine, who tied the knot in a church and in Palawan last October, discussed her married life with diving instructor Timmy Llana whom she's been in a relationship with since 2018.

Maxine said, "Okay naman. So far, na-enjoy ko saka parang wala rin naman masyado nagbago. I mean, when it comes to, 'Oh, I'm married. Eto pala 'yung husband ko,' eto lang 'yung pinagbago pero nothing changed naman.

"So far, parang gano'n pa rin naman, kung paano kami sa bahay, nagluluto s'ya for me, nagluluto ako for him then we do the chores together. Happy naman."

Asked about their baby plans, Maxine is hopeful that she and Timmy will have a boy as their first child.

"May baby plans na kami soon pero, of course, si God na ang bahala kung kelan n'ya ibibigay. Well, hopefully, boy basta healthy."

Maxine starred in the recently-concluded GMA Afternoon Prime series Magandang Dilag, her third series with GMA after First Yaya and its sequel First Lady.

She became an artist under GMA's talent management arm, Sparkle, last May.

Before becoming an actress, Maxine was a professional model.

She joined Binibining Pilipinas 2016 and won the title of Miss Universe Philippines.

She represented the country in the Miss Universe pageant in 2016 and finished in the top six.
