IN PHOTOS: The sweetest moments of Glaiza de Castro and David Rainey

Glaiza and Irish businessman boyfriend David Rainey are lovers made in paradise.
They reportedly first met in January 2018 on the beautiful island of Siargao. They became good friends and kept in touch when David had to go back home to Ireland. Eventually, the two became much closer when David returned to the Philippines and spent more time with Glaiza.
The pair were spotted hanging out, traveling around the Philippines, and posting photos of each other on social media. Needless to say, sparks flew between the two.
Also in 2018, the actress flew to London, United Kingdom after her Kapuso drama, Contessa, ended. Glaiza took up a three-month music course and also visited David and his family. Love came unexpectedly for Glaiza, who never expected she would be dating a foreigner.
A special understanding developed between the two which they tried to keep private. Despite being in a long-distance relationship (LDR), Glaiza and David made their commitment work by visiting each other and keeping in touch online.
During the community quarantine in the Philippines in the earlier part of 2020, Glaiza and David stayed together in the former's hometown in Baler, Aurora. Spending time with Glaiza's family, the two enjoyed the island life and even wrote songs for COVID-19 frontliners.
When David had to fly back to Ireland, their patience and strong bond was tested once again. After all, being in a long distance relationship is no walk in the park. But Glaiza and David prove that LDR is possible. For instance, during their anniversary, even if they were apart, they sent surprises for each other to make the day extra special.
In December 2020, Glaiza flew to Ireland to be with David and spent Christmas together. David welcomed Glaiza with an engagement proposal that marked a big milestone in their relationship.
In an exclusive feature of 'Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho' on February 13, the Kapuso actress revealed that she and her Irish fiancé have already tied the knot in October 2021. Their intimate ceremony was held on a cliff in Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom.
