Former actress Michelle Madrigal penned a heartfelt message to her husband Troy Woolfolk as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary yesterday, April 12.

In a post on Instagram, Michelle looked back at the rollercoaster journey that they have had.

“3 years together, 1 year married, what a roller coaster journey it has been,” Michelle started her message.

“I wouldn't trade anything for the world. Thank you for everything that you do for our family.

“2020 has definitely been challenging for most of us but yet, we are blessed to have a new home to make memories with Anika & Juju.”

Anika is Michelle and Troy's only daughter, who was born in 2017.

“I can't imagine living life without you and I am happy you chose me to be the mother of your child and to be your wife,” Michelle continued.

“I love you @twoolf29. Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary!”

Likewise, Troy also looked back at the three years they have spent as a couple and wrote a message for his “favorite Pinay.”

“Happy Anniversary @mitch_madrigal! It's crazy that this very day last year we got married,” Troy wrote in an Instagram post.

“Things happened so fast with us, [it] seems like I met you then you moved in and we got married all in the same month.

“Fast forward a year later, we [are] living in a house with our old dog and crazy daughter.”

Troy admitted that he was initially attracted to Michelle's beauty but he fell in love with her “motherly qualities.” They met each other through a dating app.

“I originally was attracted to your natural beauty but fell in love with the motherly quality that you just seem to innately possess,” he continued.

“Mahal Kita to my favorite Pinay Michelle.”
