Filipino YouTube star Marlon “Junnie Boy” Velasquez of Team Payaman finally proposed to his girlfriend Vien Iligan.

The two have been in a relationship since 2017 and have a son named Mavi.

Junnie Boy started his YouTube channel in August 2017 and has now over three million subscribers. He also has a huge following and fan group known as “Tribo ng mga Giyang.” His brother Cong also has a YouTube channel called Cong TV.

Junnie Boy said in his video intro, "Gusto ko ipaalam sa inyo na magpo-propose na ako ay Vien."

He also narrated how proposing to Vien has been on his mind for a while.

"Hindi naman kami nagsimula na may pera kami kaya hindi kami masyado nakakapagregaluhan sa sarili namin. So ngayong magpo-propose ako sa kanya isa sa mga problema ko, dati okay lang sa'min na basta magkasama lang kami.

"Dahil nagka-baby kami, lagi kaming magkasama at tipong okay lang sa inyo kahit makakain lang kayo sa labas dahil lagi na kayong magkasama, sobrang mahirap mag-surprise.

"Siguro biglaan sa inyo ito, pero matagal ko na rin siyang pinag-iisipan at sa moment na ito, ito na ang gustong gawin ng puso ko."

He then showed the preparations he made leading to the big proposal.

Junnie Boy shared his “journey” which started from getting Vien's ring size, buying a ring, asking permission from both of their parents, and finally asking her to marry him.

He then created a skit with the help from his friends led by Viy Cortez, another vlogger and Cong's girlfriend.

Junnie Boy documented the skit, which involved pranking Vien into thinking they were preparing a video script for Viy, when he was actually about to propose.
