A decade of love: Oyo Sotto and Kristine Hermosa mark their 10th 'birthsary' today, January 12.
The month of January holds a special meaning for Kristine Hermosa--every year of the 12th day of the month, two key occasions are being celebrated: her husband's birthday and their wedding date.
This 2021, as Oyo Sotto turns 37, they also marked an important milestone. On this day, they also celebrate a decade of their marriage.
Kristine took to Instagram to share her thoughts about this joyous moment in their lives by writing a heartfelt “birthsary” message for her husband.
Urbandictionary.com defines birthsary as "an annual event that celebrates the fact that your wedding anniversary and birthday are on the same day."
She wrote, “Kahit anong anggolo, hindi maitatago ang kagwapuhan mo. Gaya ng kahit anong hamon ng buhay, hindi maitatago ang kabutihan ng puso mo -- It's a privilege to be celebrating your life on earth and our milestones together.
“The imperfect you & me, and our God who never cease to perfect us is what makes this marriage more exciting -- I want to honor you my love for the man that you are in the Lord. God knew you were the exact person I needed in this fallen world. Thank God I did not miss. I love you my Vittorio! Cheers to having you and a lifetime together! Happy 10th Birthsary!!!
For his part, Oyo also posted a sweet message for his wife on their anniversary. He began by saying, “Dekada.”
“Maraming maraming salamat Panginoon! You have been faithful to us from the very beginning. Thank you for everything that you've done in my life.”
Despite the challenges they have faced together, one thing is clear and that is Oyo's feeling for his wife has not changed a bit.
“Happy 10th anniversary @khsotto!Ang bilis ng sampung taon. Maraming pag subok, maraming lungkot pero hindi mapapantayan ang saya at pagmamahal na binigay satin ng Panginoon. I love you Kristine.”
Several netizens also commented on their "birthsary" post and wished them well on their special day.
The Sotto couple tied the knot in 2011 at Club Balai Isabel in Batangas.

As they wrapped up 2020, Oyo and Kristine made a surprised announcement that they are expecting their fifth child.
The Daddy's Gurl actor posted a photo of the result of a pregnancy test on Instagram and captioned it with this: "Nag POSITIVE!!! Positive na mapapahiyaw ka sa tuwa!
"Grabe ka Lord! Salamat Lord Jesus! Napaka faithful mo kahit kailan.
"God is truly amazing. Ibang klase ang mga sorpresa mo. Best Christmas gift ever."
They already have four children already, namely, Kristian Daniel, Ondrea Bliss, Kaleb Hanns, and their fourth child, Marvin Valentin II, who was born in 2016.
No one can deny that Oyo Sotto is one lucky guy, because he got to marry the love of his life, Kristine Hermosa!
