Actress Jessy Mendiola and TV host actor Luis Manzano have released a pre-nuptial music video a month after their engagement.

The three-minute video features the couple on the pristine island of Amanpulo, Palawan.

The video opens with HRVY's "Baby I Love Your Way" playing in the background while Jessy and Luis are running across a strip of sand, gazing at each other after sunset, and Luis holding Jessy's hand which has a beautiful engagement ring.

Jessy has also recently teased the pre-nuptial video on her Instagram account, sharing photos of her and Luis posing against the backdrop of Amanpulo's majestic sights.

The actress has spoken up about an incident that happened before her engagement that involves a close friend who happens to the initial co-designer behind her engagement ring.

In a tell-all vlog titled “The Truth behind the Ring,” Jessy recounted how her now fiancé, Luis Manzano, had plans to propose to her late last year and had asked Jessy's friend from Radiant Lux Jewelry to create her ring.

In May 2020, Jessy and Luis took a break from their relationship and split briefly.

During the split, Jessy turned to her jeweler friend, who is affiliated with Radiant Lux Jewelry.

Jessy narrated how Luis had purchased an engagement ring for her before their breakup and let her jeweler friend keep it for safety. However, during Jessy and Luis's split, the friend showed Jessy the engagement ring despite knowing that the lovers were on a break from their relationship.

Jessy explained in her video, "She was there for me. But for whatever reason, she showed me the ring. She opened the box in front of me knowing that di kami ayos ni Luis. She let me wear the ring. I didn't want to have anything to do with it," Jessy shared on the brink of tears.

Jessy and Luis confirmed their relationship to the public in 2016. The pair temporarily split in May 2020 before finally deciding to get engaged in December 2020 in Amanpulo, Palawan.
