Vin Abrenica shares the details leading to his surprise proposal for Sophie Albert, his girlfriend of eight years, in his vlog uploaded on Valentine's Day.
Sophie and Vin got engaged on December 12, 2020, but the couple only made their engagement public in February 2021. This good news was followed by yet another one when the couple also announced that they are pregnant with their first child.
While it took them some time to share these beautiful milestones in their relationship, the couple lets us into their intimate engagement.
Vin shared on his YouTube channel how he pulled off his surprise for the Kapuso actress with the help of her friends and their families.
He convinced Sophie to travel to Batangas for their maternity shoot, and he tapped the expert services of lensman JB de Leon to capture their beautiful moments that culminated into the night of his proposal.
Vin captioned his vlog, saying, “After months of planning and preparing and waiting for this day, it finally happened! We are engaged and we are expecting our first baby together. Sharing with you our story and we couldn't be happier! Thank you everyone for your warm wishes! Happy Valentine's day to all!”
The now engaged couple and expecting parents also took their messages of gratitude to social media.
Sophie said, “I can't wait to hold you! Thank you everyone for your all warm wishes. Our hearts are full. Happy Valentine's day, I hope all your hearts are filled to the brim.”
Vin also wrote his thanks and teased his fiancée.
He said, “What's the commotion all about? We love and appreciate all your warm and sweet greetings! Di ko maiwasang makita yung reactions and comments sa kamay ni @itssophiealbert kesyo sinasabi na A. Sobra sa gluta B. Anong brand ng sabon/lotion niya C. Anemic D. Kamay ng Vampire E. Kasama sa Adam's Family at iba pa. San ba banda dito ang Maputi? Hindi naman halata.”
