I Left My Heart in Sorsogon stars Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi confirmed their relationship status in a video posted on the former's YouTube page last night, December 20.

“It's a yes. It's like friendship na relationship. There are a lot of types of relationships, guys. Kung ano meron kami ngayon, it's really our own,” Kyline explained.

Mavy also recalled that he started feeling differently toward the singer-actress when they attended the joint KENZO launch and Akimbo anniversary event back in 2019.

“May event kami na pinuntahan with Cassy (his twin sister) tapos kasama ko si Kai..and after that, 'yun lang, tumibok na 'yung puso ko in a different way,” he said.

Asked what they liked the most about each other, Kyline shared that she appreciates him always being there to take care of her especially when she hits her “rock bottom.”

“He's always there even though ilang beses ko na siyang pinupush away… I'm not going to deny, I took advantage of it. I just feel so guilty and sorry about that… like hindi ko siya ever binigyan ng chance to show himself to me,” she said.

Mavy replied in appreciation of her honesty, noting that not many are capable of admitting their shortcomings.

“Nakikita na niya at inaaral na niya 'yung mga mistakes at imperfections niya. At aminado naman siya doon,” he said.

Last June, Mavy and Kyline first sparked rumors about their budding relationship when he gushed about her dimples on Instagram, writing: "Her. Her dimples. Yup, that's the post."
