July 28, 2022 is a memorable date for celebrity couple Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza as it is the day of their engagement.
The Quezon City District 1 Representative popped the question to his girlfriend on the said date, exactly nine years after the Eat Bulaga host shared her iconic “Arjo cutie” tweet.
In an Instagram post, Arjo posted photos of him with Maine during the proposal and captioned his post, “My turn, I will marry you cutie. 07.28.22”
It can be recalled that Maine posted her “Arjo cutie” tweet on July 28, 2013, and the actress-television host eventually ended up dating the renowned personality in 2018.

The pair marked their third anniversary as a couple in December 2021.
The Daddy's Gurl actress also took to social media to announce the good news.
She wrote, “Wait, whaaat??? We're engaged?!”
