Happy anniversary, Lara and Marco!
Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz proved they are indeed one of the industry's #CoupleGoals as they recently marked their 12th wedding anniversary.
The former beauty queen shared photos of her and Marco from a photoshoot, where they were wearing matching white long sleeves and black pants, on her Instagram.
“12 years married to this hottie today,” she said.
“12 years later, with 3 kids, a belly full of excess skin and stretchmarks--I still feel the same. Happy 12th Wedding Anniversary marcoalcaraz,” Lara continued.
Lara and Marco are blessed with three sons--Noah, born in November 2012; Tobias, born in September 2018; and Moses, born in September 2020.
She also recounted the conversation with their parents more than a decade ago when they were asked why they wanted to get married despite only being together for a year then.
According to her, their answer was a quote from the classic 1989 romantic-comedy film, When Harry Met Sally.
“Our answer was, "When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”"
Lara concluded her greeting to Marco with a heartwarming, “I love you asawa ko. Habambuhay.”
Marco also posted a photo of him and Lara from the same photoshoot.
“Best Decision that I ever made. Happy Anniversary Asawa ko laraquigaman,” he mused.
Lara and Marco had a civil wedding in Vancouver on January 1, 2011 and then held a second ceremony in Manila on July 8, 2012.
