Aiai delas Alas is currently in the U.S. with husband Gerald Sibayan to take a much needed break after staying home for some time. She has been busy with their businesses and her showbiz career.
The actress-comedienne-singer and her husband are planning to stay abroad for more or less a month to take care of personal errands including getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
"Magpapa-vaccine na rin kami sa Amerika. 'Yung para sa amin dito sa Pilipinas, ibibigay na lang namin sa kababayan nating mas nangangailangan," Aiai told PEP.ph.
"Bibisitahin ko rin ang anak ko na si Nicolo kasi matagal na kaming hindi nagkikita dahil sa pandemic."
True enough, Aiai did reunite with her son Shaun Nicolo or Niki, who is now living in the U.S.
While in the U.S., Aiai has been sharing updates of their trip on social media including the reunion with Shaun, meeting up with friends, walking around in a maskless vaccinated crowd, and getting her COVID-19 vaccine.
