Maris Racal is currently having the time of her life in Italy.
She visited the country for the Far East Film Festival in Udine which screened her new film 'Where is the Lie?'
The film is directed by Quark Henares and stars Maris, EJ Jallorina, and Royce Cabrera.
It is based on a Twitter thread that went viral as it chronicled the experiences of a transwoman who was catfished and manipulated by a group of transphobes.
'Where is the Lie?' premiered at the Slamdance Festival in the US last January. It also earned a Special Jury Recognition for a Narrative Feature at the Los Angels Asian Pacific Film Festival.
