Rovilson Fernandez wrote, “It had 'Before Sunrise' vibes (but I was Julie Delpy and Solenn was Ethan Hawke).”

Host Rovilson Fernandez was among the many celebrities who greeted birthday girl Solenn Heussaff on Monday, July 20.

The Ang Pinaka host commemorated the moment by posting a throwback photo of his trip in Paris, France in 2014 with Solenn who was visiting her family at the time.

He wrote in the caption, “I traveled alone to France one fine summer in 2014, unbeknownst to me, @solenn was also there.

“I didn't expect her to reply (as she was visiting family and on her birthday week no less) but hit her up on Facebook (or was it MySpace?!) and she said, 'let me show you around my city.'”

According to the 6-foot-tall host, Solenn gave the most amazing walking tour of the city and explained everything there is to know about the City of Love.

He added, “It had 'Before Sunrise' vibes (but I was Julie Delpy and Solenn was Ethan Hawke).

“I was totally fine with hanging out with her for one day but she invited me to many more excursions with her friend and family for the week.

“You [Solenn} didn't have to do that, but you did.”

He then ended the post by quoting American poet Maya Angelou and writing his well-wishes for the birthday girl.

“You know the saying, 'people will never forget what you said, they'll forget what you did, but will never forget how you made them feel?'

“Well, thanks for letting this weary, lone traveler feel like a million bucks that day. I am indebted to you and I'll never forget your kindness.

“You deserve everything golden. Thank you Solenn. Happy birthday, homegirl!”

I traveled alone to France one fine summer in 2014, unbeknownst to me, @solenn was also there. Didn't expect her to reply back(as she was visiting family and on her birthday week no less) but hit her up on Facebook (or was it MySpace?!) and she said, “let me show you around my city.” So she gave me the most amazing walking tour, explained everything, ate anything, walked the cobblestone streets, museums, back alleys and amusement parks and shined a light on a city i was very nonchalant about. It had “Before Sunrise” vibes(but I was Julie Delpy and Solenn was Ethan Hawke 😂). I was totally fine with hanging out with her for one day, but she invited me to many more excursions with her friends and family for the week. You didn't have to do that, but you did. You know the saying, “people will forget what you said, they'll forget what you did, but will never forget how you made them feel.” Well thanks for letting this weary, lone traveler feel like a million bucks that day.
