There are three destination spots on Khalil's wish list.
Actor Khalil Ramos is still overwhelmed by the warm welcome he received from fans after formalizing his move to GMA Network with a contract signing last October 13.
“Once everything is back to normal I'm sure magiging madami na kong work and I'm very excited about the opportunity to collaborate with excellent artists, writers, directors, actors, and just really everyone from GMA,” Khalil told fans during the Kapuso Brigade ZOOMustahan.
Khalil admitted that he's raring to go back to work after months of staying just at home because of the imposed lockdown due to COVID-19.
“Ang naging pinaka-challenge sa akin is paano ako magiging productive araw-araw, paano ako magiging creative. 'Yon kasi 'yong pinaka-passion ko sa buhay, e - mag-create ng content, kumanta, umarte, at magsulat.
He occupied his time by playing video games and watching movies at home with his family.
“Kami ng buong pamilya ko mahilig kaming manood ng pelikula, 'yon 'yung bonding namin,” he shared.
But there's one hobby that Khalil particularly enjoys during the quarantine period.
“Ako kasi sobrang hilig ko sa kape so I applied all my learning and 'yong period of isolation na 'yon, I made it my training ground. I experimented with all sorts of brewing methods. So, 'yon 'yung naging hobby.”
DREAMING OF A VACATION
But there's one fun thing that Khalil wants to do once things return back to normal. Of course, he plans to share it with his girlfriend, Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia.
“I'm looking forward for a vacation kung puwede na mag-travel,” he smiled
“Kami ni Gabbi sobrang hilig naming mag-travel. So, 'pag medyo nag-ease na 'yong circumstances and safe na mag-travel o 'pag may bakuna na o wala na talagang fear, we definitely would love to travel.”
On top of Khalil's destination wish list is the island paradise of Palawan.
“Gusto ko bumalik ng Palawan,” he said.
“Dahil napagkaitan tayo ng summer, hindi tayo nakapunta ng beach, hindi tayo nakapag relax with our family. So, kung sakali na ma-lift na 'yung travel ban, gusto ko makabalik ng Palawan.”
He continued, “Next siguro international naman, Mexico! Kami ni Gabbi we're super fans of Mexican food dahil sobrang lapit niya sa panlasang Pinoy tsaka 'yong culture nila [hindi rin nalalayo]. Gusto namin i-explore 'yong lugar na 'yon, gusto naming mag-food trip sa Mexico.”
Europe, meanwhile, is his third destination preference at the moment.
“Hindi pa ko nakakapunta [sa Europe] so sana I can go to the places there. Si Gabbi nakapunta na siya sa Spain, France, ako never pa kong nakarating ng Europe,” said Khalil.
“So sana kung magkakaroon na ng chance makapag-travel ulit, Europe siguro would be nice.”
