Make your summer 2021 memorable by visiting these stunning beach resorts but, of course, with proper planning and some due diligence.

Last summer was a total letdown and we all know why. However, we can't let another summer pass by without getting sand in between our toes and taking a dip in crystal clear waters.

Worried about the restrictions? There are destinations that have reopened to local tourists and all of these places practice safe tourism. But as responsible tourists, we need to do our research, secure necessary papers, and follow guidelines for a hassle-free trip.

GMA Lifestyle lists down a few beautiful beach resorts that are already accepting tourists. So, are you ready for summer?

1. Villa Cali in Siargao

With its pristine waters and the wondrous nature found in this palm-filled island, Siargao is surely on everyone's beach bucket list.

Everyone's probably wondering whether it's required to be naked on Naked Island. Or do you really need to ride a motorbike on the island's roads lined with coconut trees? One thing is for sure, you have to experience Siargao at least once in your life (or thrice maybe).

Head over to travel blogger Colz Vidal's newly opened paradise resort tucked somewhere on the island. Experience island life with a speckle of luxury at Villa Cali resort located in General Luna Siargao, just a few steps away from the famous surf break of Cloud 9.

2. La Luz in San Juan Batangas

Locally acclaimed for its beaches, San Juan is a go-to destination for people living in Metro Manila and Southern Luzon. Just a two-hour drive from Manila, Laiya in San Juan is the nearest white sand beach from the city.

La Luz opened to the public just recently. It was a family resthouse that has plenty of rooms and even has its own large pavilion. Not only will it be the perfect place for your family bonding, the impeccable view of the beach will surely take your breath away.

Palawan's underrated beaches will surely convince you to grab that seat sale and take the trip. Time to pack your cobweb (Hi, quarantine) covered suitcase and book a flight to the famous last ecological frontier of the Philippines.

Its crystal clear waters and scenic landscapes will make this trip one for the books. Catering a blend of Filipino culture and sophistication, the modish Coron Westown Resort located just 25 minutes away from Busuanga Airport definitely hits the suite spot.

Quickly gaining a reputation as the millennial's getaway beach, La Union is not only a home to local surfers but its accessibility is definitely attracting all sorts of beachgoers as well. The surf, nightlife, and the community make this as the Surfing Capital of the North.

There's a unique hostel in La Union that's perfect for travel junkies. Charlie's Hangar is an aviation-themed surf hostel that has a real plane in its premises.
