Kyline Alcantara's suitcase is ready to go to Korea but what else is she bringing? Maybe, a special friend.
In case you missed it, Sparkle artist Kyline Alcantara is now the newest honorary ambassador of Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) here in the Philippines.
In a recent press conference held at Shangri-La The Fort, the Director of KTO Manila, Hyung Joon Kim, made the announcement and said that Kyline was chosen among the many candidates they screened because of her wide range of charms and talents as well as her passion for the Korean culture.

The director also pointed out that the Kapuso actress is one of the most influential and promising young actresses in the Philippines and believes that Kyline can help reach and encourage Filipinos to be potential supporters of Korean tourism.
Kyline also made it known to her fans and followers on Instagram how grateful and happy she is for the opportunity, she writes, “2022 is not yet over but definitely this is a highlight of my year and my career. Manifesting is so true. Another dream come true. It truly is a pleasure to be the Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism. I'm beyond grateful and my heart is full. Kamsahamnida, @ktomanila fam. I can't wait to go to Korea!!!”
As the newest honorary ambassador, one of Kyline's duties is to travel all the way to the country of Korea and share the Korean culture with her fans and supporters.
Although there is still no set date as to when Kyline will be able to fly to Korea, she's already very excited to visit the country of her favorite Korean artists such as Lee Jong Suk, Lee Min Ho, Blackpink's Lisa, and more.

Kyline also expressed how she's looking forward to wearing the winter clothes she's seen on Lee Sung Kyung or famously known as Kim Bok Joo from the Korean drama Weightlifting Fairy. Pieces such as sweaters and coats are sure staples inside her luggage.

But aside from the clothes she wants to wear and bring, Kyline also expressed that if given the chance to travel to Korea with someone other than her family, she'll be happy to travel with her special friend, Mavy Legaspi.

“Si Mavy kasi pareho kaming fan ng fashion ng Korea, parehas kaming mahilig kumain that's why we have chubby cheeks, and then magaling sya mag picture. And syempre, sya lang yung guy na hindi ko kadugo na pinagkakatiwalaan ng mga magulang ko.”
Kyline also shared that Mavy and his sister Cassy Legaspi were the ones who helped her delve deeper into the Korean culture. The twins were said to introduce Kyline to various Kpop idols and the rest is history.

The Sparkle artist already officially started her stint as the newest honorary ambassador of KTO in Manila as she attended the Ganda Korea DIY Travel Seminar last April 30 at the SM North Edsa Skydome in Quezon City.
