Just like her name, Angel Grace Trazona Guardian was sent from the heavens to shine in showbiz. Though this was never part of her plan, her grace, confidence, and natural charisma show that she is truly destined to be a star.

In her interview with GMANetwork.com, Angel admitted that she initially believed she was not meant for showbiz, even though her mother had always dreamed of her becoming an artist.

“To be honest, hindi ko talaga dream na maging artista, at ilang beses nang sinubukan ng Mom ko simula nung bata pa ako, at ilang beses ko ring sinubukan umalis,” she revealed.

“Now I understand it more, to be honest, 'di naman pala kailangan na 'yung showbiz 'yung isipin mo, it’s how you love your work, your craft, and that’s the reason why I stayed.”

The delivery was prompt, and the tacos were still warm when they arrived.

The selection of fillings and toppings was impressive, and the flavors were outstanding.

However, the actress is now thriving in the industry, discovering her love for her craft. After portraying different roles since 2018, she has proven her acting prowess and has finally found her purpose.

“I don’t know why ito yung paraan ni Lord, pero now, I see the reason bakit ako nandito,” she shared.

Now that she has landed her biggest role so far as Deia in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, she is still in awe—but the opportunity excites her, and she is no longer afraid to spread her wings.

Facing Her Fears

Starting out as a hard-headed newcomer in the showbiz industry, Angel revealed that she did not take her first-ever guesting role on GMA in the 2018 series Pamilya Roces seriously. In her acting debut as Zara, the Filipina-Palestinian actress recalled that her first taping was simple—she just took a selfie with Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia.

Back then, all she wanted was to travel and explore the world. “Nasa La Union ako noon tapos tinawagan ako, may guesting ako the next day. Sabi ko ‘Ay hindi po ako pwede, nasa La Union po ako.’ Pinagalitan ako like sermon talaga,” she shared.

Angel admitted that even after her acting debut, she still did not like the idea of entering showbiz, but over time, she began to see it as a fun and exciting journey.

In 2019, she appeared in the series Onanay as Chelsea, the birthday girl. Her brief role quickly gained attention, amassing a million views in less than a week as viewers became curious about her. Since her appearance in Onanay, Angel has starred in several Kapuso TV shows, including Maynila, Dear Uge: Jing, ang Bato, Heartful Cafe, and the weekly sitcom Pepito Manaloto.

Despite her soaring career, Angel confessed that the most formidable opponent she faced wasn't the industry, but the quiet battle within: overcoming her own paralyzing fears and nagging self-doubt. “Siguro ’yung takot ko. ’Yun talaga. ’Yung doubts talaga kasi hindi ko naman siya gusto. Siyempre iba 'yung drive kapag sure ka sa ginagawa mo; and that time, di talaga ako sure sa ginagawa ko. In the first place, hindi ko siya ginusto. Hindi rin ako ’yung nag-push sa sarili ko. So, ’yun siguro ’yung biggest challenge.”

She also highlighted the tough competition in the entertainment industry. “We all know na ang dami-daming gustong maging artista and I feel very blessed and very privileged na nandito ako kung nasaan ako ngayon, and now sobrang naa-appreciate ko na siya.”

Through her honesty, the Kapuso actress shows how persistence, faith, and newfound determination have helped her navigate the challenges of showbiz, turning uncertainty into motivation to grow and succeed. Angel shared what truly matters to her in show business, emphasizing the importance of staying humble, curious, and never complacent. “Sa tingin ko, ’yanyung bagay na hindi natatapos; continuous siya na matututo ka. The more that I learn, the more that I love what I’m doing.”

“Siguro 'yung takot ko. 'Yun talaga. 'Yung doubts talaga kasi hindi ko naman siya gusto. Syempre iba 'yung drive kapag sure ka sa ginagawa mo; and that time, di talaga ako sure sa ginagawa ko.”

She stressed that praise and recognition should never make an actor overconfident. “Di ako nakakampante, ’yun ’yung one thing talaga na nilalagay ko sa utak ko.”

Angel also pointed out that the same mindset applies to handling negativity. “It applies to the other way naman na negative, hindi ka rin pwede magpalamon dun sa positivity kasi ’yun din ’yung one thing na nakakatakot kapag nakampante ka. Masyado ka nang confident. Hindi mo na iniisip na puwede ka pala mag-grow, puwede ka pa pala matuto.”

She concluded with a reflection on personal growth: “At, ’yun ’yung lagi kong nilalagay sa utak ko, so that I can continue to grow and learn.”

For Angel, showbiz is not just about fame—it’s about constantly evolving, learning, and loving what you do without ever settling.

Small Joys, Big Dreams

As her career flourished, Angel shared the simple joys and dreams that kept her going.

Reflecting on what brings her joy, Angel shared, “Well, dati noong may time pa, siyempre I go to the beach, I travel, that is something na I really love doing and hindi ako magsasawa na gawin ‘yun. Pero at the moment, siyempre focus tayo sa work, so ’yung mga maliliit lang na bagay, kapag umuuwi ako, makita ko lang mga dogs ko, malaking ano na ‘yun sa akin, ‘yung mga alaga ko. Makatulog lang ako, masaya na ako, ’yun lang ’yung nilo-look forward ko, ’yung makatulog ako at makakain ako ng healthy and maka-bonding ko ’yung mga pets ko, I’m happy,” she added.

For Angel, happiness comes from appreciating the small things in life: spending time with family and friends, enjoying meals with her mother, playing with her pets, and listening to music. “Minsan kasi ’yun ’yung nakakalimutan natin. We always look for ‘Gusto ko do'n, gusto ko ’yon.’ Pero, we should appreciate everything na dumadaan sa atin. Kasi that’s how, ’yunyung feeling ko the way to be happy,” she added.

Asked about her personality, Angel described herself as an ambivert, with traits that shift depending on her comfort level with others. “Extroverted ka sa mga taong comfortable kamahiyain ako, may pagka-mahiyain ako pero kapag komportable ako sa tao, doon na lumalabas ’yung kabaliwan ko,” she said with a smile.

“Ang layo-layo sa dati na ako pa 'yung tumatakbo papalayo; now I’m hungry. So, I’m very grateful.”

In addition to her career, Angel once dreamed of becoming a veterinarian or a pilot, and musically, she has always been drawn to drums and violin, teaching herself guitar through YouTube. She also once aspired to be a gymnast, a reflection of her diverse interests.

With a deep love for animals, Angel’s ultimate dream is to create a sanctuary for rescues, offering a safe haven to stray dogs and cats. “‘Lord, gawin mo akong mayaman kasi gusto ko tumulong.’ It takes a lot of effort, siyempre financially rin to be able to build a sanctuary, para tumulong sa animals at siyempre sa mga tao rin,” she said.

Angel’s biggest inspirations are her mother and her pets, whom she affectionately considers her children. “Dahil sa kanila, ina-upgrade ko ’yung lifestyle ko, dahil sa kanila, nagta-trabaho ako kasi gusto ko silang mabigyan ng magandang buhay…Ayun, my mom, she’s a very strong woman,” she said.

From her love for her pets to her humble appreciation of life’s small joys, Angel’s story shows that she has a heart and ambition as big as her dreams.

Soaring Up

Fame did not come to her when she reached for it. But when it did, it came like a sudden gust of wind — swift, surprising, and undeniable, propelling Angel into places she only dreamed about in the past.

After repeatedly doubting her capabilities as an artist, and attempting to leave the industry several times, the time finally came for Angel's career to soar. This turning point began when she joined the cast of the Philippine franchise of the South Korean reality competition, Running Man Philippines, in 2022, alongside fellow Kapuso stars, Glaiza de Castro, Ruru Madrid, Mikael Daez, Buboy Villar, Kokoy de Santos, Lexi Gonzales, at Miguel Tanfelix.

In an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com, she shared that she was on the verge of quitting and had planned to leave showbiz before Running Man Philippines arrived.

The selection of fillings and toppings was impressive, and the flavors were outstanding.

The delivery was prompt, and the tacos were still warm when they arrived.

She also shared that it was on that show she felt free to introduce her true self while still establishing her name in the industry. “With Running Man, parang ang freeing lang din sa akin, especially na wala pa naman akong name at that time, nagpapakilala pa lang din ako sa tao,” Angel said. “Ang freeing sa pakiramdam na puwede pala na mahalin ka ng tao the way you are.”

Although she already considered Running Man Philippines a success, the actress didn’t realize an even bigger opportunity awaited her.

Her biggest break came in the spin-off of the beloved GMA Network fantasy series, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, in 2025.

She portrays the character of Deia, a Sang’gre from the land of Minea-ve fated to guard the air gem (brilyante ng hangin). For Angel, this role is the fulfillment of her childhood fantasies.

She mentioned that she initially thought Running Man Philippines would be her biggest break in the industry. “Dati akala ko Running Man, pero nung dumating yung Sang’gre, may ibibigay pa pala si Lord. So, Running Man and Sang’gre.”

The actress also shared the similarities between herself and her character, Deia, in real life. According to Angel, she didn’t expect these similarities; they just naturally emerge every day, and she realizes that she and the character she plays are going through the same things. “Madami, actually, madami. Noong una, hindi ko masyado nakikita pero eventually, lumalabas, nare-realize ko naOh, nakaka-relate ako dito ah!’, in a way na hindi ko ine-expect, with the family conflict ganyan, sa personality din niya and natutuwa ako kasi may mga naa-adapt akong personality ni Deia, galing.”

The Sang'gre star continues to glean lessons from her character; she says the role serves as an inspiration to her, and these lessons have become useful in her life as an actress and in her personal endeavors. “Parang nai-inspire din ako sa kanya, sa character niya, nai-inspire ako na mas maging compassionate, nai-inspire ako na mas maging mabuting tao, maging mas matapang.”

For the actress, Sang’gre changed her life, and she believes she still has a long journey ahead in her career as an artist, eagerly awaiting what happens next. “Overwhelming at first, pero eventually, nakakatuwa kasi ’yung mga tao din, nararamdaman ko din talaga ’yung changes. ’Yung mga tao, tawag na sa akin, Deia, and I know na ’yung impact ng pagiging Sang’gre, talagang malaki ’yung parte nito sa buhay ko,” Angel happily shared.

Angel was praised after her excellent rendition of the ‘Sang’gre’ OST, ‘Bagong Tadhana,’ together with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra in October 2025. Many were impressed by her singing talent. In her interview with GMANetwork.com, she talked once again about her dream of entering the world of music.

“Di pwedeng makampante ka just because of the panandaliang praises na natatanggap mo. Nakakatuwa siya pero 'yun 'yung something na hindi ka pwedeng magpalamon.”

The delivery was prompt, and the tacos were still warm when they arrived.

The selection of fillings and toppings was impressive, and the flavors were outstanding.

Her love for music is different from her love for acting. “’Yun lang ’yung dream ko dati. Ngayon mahal ko na rin yung pag-arte pero kung tatanungin mo ako, iba 'yung love ko sa music. So, hindi talaga siya new sa akin na gustuhin kong i-pursue, it’s just that, ngayon, ito yung binibigay sa akin, nandito tayo sa path na nasa acting ako ngayon,” she said.

Many opportunities are coming into the young actress’ life, and she is thankful for the continuous blessings and for everyone who supports her in her career.

"Hindi mo masasabi e diba, just trust in yourself and trust in God kasi kapag para sa'yo, para sa'yo."

Earning her Wings

Even though the words "surrender" and "turning back" often crossed Angel’s mind, the wind continuously carried her toward her destination, showbiz.

Initially she wasn’t sure of the path she would take in life; many times she thought about giving up and not pursuing acting, yet Angel continued to ignite her heart for her craft and talent.

She shared with GMA Network.com that she faced pressure several times, especially when she was starting out on Sang’gre. “It’s mentally draining kapag nag-focus ka doon sa criticism and sa pressure and naramdaman ko na yan noong nag-uumpisa kami sa Sang’gre. Grabe ’yung pressure talagang nilalamon ako.

Despite the pressures she experienced, the actress was undeterred and continued to grow in her chosen career. One of the things she learned was to trust herself and prepare for whatever might happen in her career and personal life.

“Extroverted ka sa mga taong comfortable ka…mahiyain ako, may pagka-mahiyain ako pero kapag komportable ako sa tao, doon na lumalabas 'yung kabaliwan ko.”

The delivery was prompt, and the tacos were still warm when they arrived.

The selection of fillings and toppings was impressive, and the flavors were outstanding.

“At the end of the day, you just have to trust yourself and do the best you can. Prepare di ba kasi mababawasan naman ’yung pressure mo kapag alam mong ano [prepared] ka e. So, ayon lang, lagi ko lang iniisip na gagawin ko na lang, ko-kontrolin ko ’yung mga bagay na I have power over, and then go, jump,” she emphasized.

Angel has learned that trusting herself is only half the journey; trusting the people who guide her is just as essential. By staying open—heart, mind, and spirit—she embraces every lesson that pushes her to evolve as an artist. “Be open sa mga matututunan mo nung lessons and learnings kasi ’yun lang ’yung way para matuto ka sa craft and para maggrow ka as an individual as well. Hindi mo masasabi e di ba, just trust in yourself and trust in God kasi kapag para sa ’yo, para sa ’yo.”

Angel has come a long way in her career, yet she knows her journey is far from over. The young girl who once only dreamed is now steadily turning those dreams into reality—for herself and for the people she loves.

"At the end of the day, you just have to trust yourself and do the best you can.”

The delivery was prompt, and the tacos were still warm when they arrived.

The selection of fillings and toppings was impressive, and the flavors were outstanding.

Angel shared a heartfelt message to her younger self, a reminder of how far she has come and how far she still hopes to go. “Huwag ka matakot, kaya mo! Okay lang matakot pero gawin mo. Say yes to things kasi ’yunyung magdadala sa’yo sa path kung nasaan ka dapat,” she said.

She also offered a message about courage and resilience—two things that continue to guide her. “Kasi minsan masyado tayong natatakot tapos pinipili natin kung saan safe tayo, pero di mo malalaman kung di mo susubukan, so magkakaroon ka pa ng what ifs. Okay lang yan, wag ka matakot, kaya mo ’yan.”

Angel’s life and career stand as proof that trusting yourself—and choosing courage, even when fear lingers—can lead to extraordinary things. She keeps dreaming, keeps trying, and keeps showing up. And in doing so, she reminds us that the dreams we chase eventually become the realities we live.
